Garden Fresh Pizza with Whole Wheat Crust and Pesto Sauce
I bought the whole wheat dough at Trader Joes, but I am sure there are many recipes online if you would like to make your own.
Make a pesto sauce. Add basil, olive oil, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, blend until pureed.
Spread on dough, top with fresh mozzarella, or feta cheese, then add your favorite garden vegetables. I used onions, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and kalamata olives. Bake at 425 until perfect!
